How to create a shadow in Cricut Design Space
Creating a shadow in some fonts is fun sometimes… but you need the right font to do so.
Let’s begin:
Create a new project in CDS and type up your words. Next choose your font right click your words and hit DUPLICATE

next center the layers vertically and horizontally change the color of the new layer and send to back

using your arrow keys and the back layer selected move it to the right one click and down one click. It should look like the photo below.

Now select both layers and hit SLICE

Now you will have a few layers but done worry here’s what you do next.

- Hide your color layers
- weld your layers not hidden
- delete the middle layer of color
- show the most bottom layer
your image should look like below

Congrats! You just made your first shadow in Cricut Design Space.
This doesn’t work well with all fonts but most fonts it looks great and is fun to make. If you have any questions drop a comment below.
