Glitter ornamets are the easiest thing to make. They are cheap without a cheap look.
The question always comes up in craft groups How do I make them? What do I use to hold the glitter? There are many options to use here are some examples of what many use:
Mop N Glo
Polycrylic
Mod Podge
Elmers Glue
Pledge
Glitter-It Glue
and the list goes on and on each stating they work the best… I have tried all of these products and then some, I have an entire bin full of glues and more for ornaments. After a year or even two, storage, hanging on trees back in storage only one product worked best for me…. Elmers Craft Bond Spray Adhesive! Yep! Spray glue who woulda thought?!
Here is my supply list for DIY Glitter Ornaments:
Elmers Craft Bond Spray Adhesive
Flat Clear Christmas Ornaments
Cutter and Vinyl
Red Glitter Ornament Craft Mock Up
Let’s Begin:
Step 1: Spray the adhesive in your ornament and move it around to coat the entire inside of the ornament.
Step 2: Pour your glitter into the ornament, shake it around to coat the inside.
Step 3: Cut your vinyl name or design and place on your ornament. That’s It! No really thats it 🙂 How easy was that!?
