I love decorating my home in hand made items, I mean who doesn’t? I especially LOVE Farmhouse decor. In this tutorial we will be making these really cute wooden word blocks to place around the house.

SUPPLIES:
Poplar Wood 1×3 – Free from a local mill check for one in your area. Lowes also has poplar boards
Let’s Begin
Step 1: Sand and paint your wood blocks the color of your choice.
Step 2: Sand your painted blocks to distress them as much or as little as you’d like.
Step 3: Turn on your Cricut Easy Press Mini to heat setting 2 which is Medium (approx 310-315)
Step 4: Place cut words on wood blocks and center, apply heat with mini press for 5-10 seconds appling some pressure and run across the wood block. Hot peel htv backing.. continue for each block you have.
Step 5: Varnish your blocks with matte chalk paint varnish.
