Welcome back! I hope you all had an AWESOME Holiday and New Years!
Love is in the air! It’s almost Valentines Day! Let’s make some Valentine Decor for our home.
Supplies:
- Wood Blocks
- Red Chalk Paint
- Pink Chalk Paint
- White Chalk Paint
- Black Chalk Paint
- Chalk Paint Varnish
- HTV
- Cricut EasyPress™ Mini
- SVGs or Beanstalk Skinny Font
Step 1: Sand your blocks with a mini sander or some sand paper. I used fine to medium grit sand paper I found in the garage.
Step 2: Paint your blocks in the color of choice. I went with pink, red, white and black for Valentine colors.
Step 3: Measure the blocks to determine word length and height.
Step 4: Design in Silhouette Studio using your SVG or Font.
Step 5: Cut HTV to the setting that work best for you. This is my favorite setting for HTV.
Step 6: Once your design is cut weed the HTV, heat up your Cricut EasyPress™ Mini to medium heat setting which takes about 25-30 seconds.
Place your HTV center on your blocks and with constant motion light to medium pressure heat press the design. Back and forth motion 5-10 seconds.
Step 7: I always Varnish my chalk paint or seal it with something. It’s chalk and it gets all over your hands. I use a chalk paint varnish for mine. You can use anything to seal the blocks.
